"G'DAY.. welcome to pylet freeride.. we are BACK ONLINE!! after a extended break from the computer chair pylet.com is back in action with an all new site .. "The Pylet/Ufo Freeride Team" is an amature team located in sydneys western suburbs. We ride every weekend and any days we have off - Over the past two years we have been working with WSMTBC track building and assisting with event organisation.. We also have representatives on both WSMTB and NSW STATE commitee's... The big news from the western front is the - PYLET MTB PARK - located @ kurrajong heights ( 15 km west of richmond ) We have been working tirelessly over the past year building every weekend trying to establish a mtb mecca - and we are almost there, We have 3 dh trails (in the process of building a 4th ) one of australias biggest longest and most extreme MTNX track with a 12 metre last double. we have (and are building) freeride lines including the uber kicker and eagle one which can send u 80 foot + down the lander, beginner skinny line, a 12 pack hip line snaking down the hill and the big poppa the Sergeant gap 45 foot wood to wood - not for the faint hearted. and a foam pit !! which is awsome. We planing to build a 6 pack of trick dj's and a single kicker to mulch pile for those firts backflip attempts out of the foam pit The team has had alot of good times this year with many Podiums at Club, State and National level. We also have one of the best elite women in australia (Joanne fox)riding on our team. The team spirit and internal competetiveness combined with the atmosphere created by our unruly members creates a perfect environment for all to excede personal goals and and set new ones on a regular basis We basically love the sport of mtb and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the thrill of mountain biking as much as we..shuttles are available on most sydney tracks every weekend. BREAKING NEWS: WSMTB 09 FREERIDE SERIES IS ON THE CARDS WITH KURRAJONG AS THE FIRST VENUE - MORE DETAILS WILL BE POSTED AS THEY COME TO HAND |
